I would like to thank Kevin, and the whole crew at Clay County . Over Kevin's tenure we have had great racing, not only for the racers, but for the fans as well. I sure hope that someone else will step up and take this great facility to more successful seasons of racing with the bigger picture in mind. In my opinion Clay County Speedway could host premier sprint car racing, both non wing, and winged. Best wishes to Kevin and crew in the future. Again thank for your perseverance through tough times, and low car counts.

Sorry to hear that. Clay County is a diamond in the rough. With some upgrades to the spectator amenities, (wash basins in the restrooms are a must) this place could be a major player in the region. With so many tracks running weekly programs that are basically the same, Clay County will need to explore a different format/schedule to attract racers and fans.
