The family of Sam Stockon would like to wish him a very happy birthday today (8-8-08). At his age of 72...You've seen it all...you've heard it all...You've done it all....You just can't remember it all... Sam has a life time of racing. In the early days racing jalopy's, 50's and 60' racing all over the country in midgets and sprints being a national champion in 1961. Breaking his back shortly there after, slowed him down, but it did not stop him. Barely recoverd he started racing stock cars again in Ohio and Indiana. Moving back to Ohio in his 50's and 60's, Sam began a Sprint Car career agin. Racing the dirt tracks of Ohio than turning to winged aspalt to wind down his racing career. As littile as two year ago he was still able to put a Sprinter around the dirt track. In 2001 Sam and his wife Rosalie founded the Midwest Sprint Car Series and due to failing health he had to to sell the series after making it very successful. So if you happen to be at Paragon saturday night, wish Sam a happy birthday and if your up to it he can tell you one of those old stories, if he can remember!:applaud:

Happy Birthday from your Family, all of us!
