It's another sad day here in Florida. Robert's father, Willard "Round Daddy" Smith, passed away in May. Robert's son, Daryl Smith, also passed away in May. Now, Robert is gone. In three and a half months, three generations of the Smith racing family from Gibsonton, Florida have passed away.

Condolences to the Smith family on the loss of another member of their great family.

The man that was the most influential in my sprint car career.
Robert Smith was not only a mentor but was a best friend, a brother and I will truly miss him...
