Just completed heat #1 for the Singles. The singles are 450 cc motors. Watch for the Twins as they are 750 cc motors. The singles are motocross bikes converted for flat track racing. When the twins race is when you will see the Harleys.

Thanks for the link! Love me some dirt racing regardless of the number of tires on the vehicle.

As info the #42 Expert twin bike that won heat #1 is maintained by the Howerton Group in Gasoline Alley in Indy.....Former USAC sprint car driver Rick Howerton...the son of 1974 Hoosier Hundred winner Jackie Howerton

Thanks Tim, for the link. It's been a great show, so far. Notice that their announcer is former MSCS announcer Barry Boone?

Speaking of MSCS, as that camera was pointed out to the West and you could barely see what was left of the sunlight, I saw a red sky. Hopefully the old adage "...Red sky at night, sailor's delight" bodes well for tomorrow night's MSCS race at LPS. It's looking better and better.

Can someone explain the white line on the front stretch, running about 6-8' off the wall?
