The 54th Annual FVP Knoxville Nationals is LIVE Thursday on
http://thecushion.com . Due to rain, Wednesday Qualifying night was postponed to Thursday. The Wednesday Qualifiers will start competition at approximately 7:15pm CST. Once the “Wednesday” qualifying program is complete, fans at the track will file out of the grandstands and re-enter with there appropriate ticket for their “Thursday” qualifying program approximately 30 mins later. The same protocol holds true for PPV viewers watching on thecushion.com. Once the victory lane interviews have completed, the “Wednesday” stream will stop. Viewers will then wait approximately 30 mins for the “Thursday” stream. At that time the “Watch” link for Night 2 on the top menu bar under Live Video of thecushion.com will be available. No worries about missing any on track action as track work is scheduled during the intermission between “Wednesday” and “Thursday” race programs.
Drivers scheduled for the Wednesday Qualifying night include a good mix of Knoxville Championship Cup Series regulars and stars from all over country. Regulars Justin Henderson, Mark Dobmeier and Craig Dollansky will battle notable drivers like Pennsylvania invader Danny Dietrich, WoO drivers Brad Sweet, who already has a Knoxville WoO win at the track this year and 7 time and defending Champ Donny Schatz. (56) 410 sprints are scheduled for qualifying on Wednesday night.
Drivers scheduled for the Thursday Qualifying night program include some of the hottest drivers in racing: West Coast’s Rico Abreu, Australian James McFadden, Posse’s Brent Marks, Knoxville stars Brian Brown, Ian Madsen Terry McCarl and Dusty Zomer, Indiana’s Bryan Clausen along with WoO’s most recent winner Kerry Madsen.
Join track announcers John Gibson, Dave Rieff, and Kris Krug along with pit reporters Mike Roberts and Kyle Luetters for lap by lap coverage Aug 7th, beginning with Hot Laps at 7:15pm CST.
