Don's actual museum is in Riley. And is only viewable by appt or the one time he opens it up a year for Cancer Charity.

The one in Terre Haute on Ohio Ave is the 500 Wheels Museum which is some of the jewels. Almost all the race cars are viewable from the front window and their plaquards readable. I know he opened it up last year on one of the race dates and i showed up and nobody did for over a hour or at least after I left. The back room has about 20 pace cars a superbird and a couple motorcycles etc with tons of pictures, news articles etc on the walls

Couldn't tell you if it's going to be open or not but still worth stopping by the window to see the black duece and a few others in the window..

I will let you know what the sign board says on my way home from work. Last time I remember, I think it said July 20th from noon to four.

Any chance of seeing anything Fri AM?

BTW, "Basement Bessie" is on display in the Indy Airport (unfortunately, inside security).

Most of the time, if it is open to the public on Friday's it is either noon or in the evening. I haven't went home that way and remembered to look. I will try my best to do so tonight even though I was going to take Wabash since I rode my bike into work.

Rode by on my way to lunch (well, went out of my way to check just in case it was open) and the sign board says 20th from noon to 4pm.

This is what a website says about 500 Museum of Wheels, it isn't exactly right according to the sign board.
