Weather is looking good for this Friday night to catch some MOWA winged 410's and POWRi midgets. Looking for a strong field of 410's with guys from IL, MO,IA and possibly WI coming to run. With weather looking real bad for All Stars at Attica never know might pick up a few more guys who head west instead of east. POWRi always bring strong car counts to the short tracks, my estimate is close to 50 midgets.

Anyone seen the purse payout for the MOWA portion?

I'm ready to smell some methanol. Anyone else coming over.

I'll be over for POWRi at Lincoln and Macon.

I saw today that Bryan Clauson will be racing at Lincoln Friday night.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to look into this show at all. Anyone know off the top of their head what the admission is and what time things get started? I am debating leaving work early Friday and making the haul down from Sun Prairie

Pit and grandstand gates open at 3:00 with hot laps at 6:00 and racing at 7:00. Grandstand admission is $20 with children 12 and under free.

If I'm interpreting whats on the Lincoln Speedway website correctly there will be only 1 support class running with the sprints and midgets.

Does anyone know if Bryan, or anyone else, will be driving both the midgets and the sprints?

Lincoln is a pretty nice place and the POWRi guys put on a great show at the August show run on Friday night of the Illinois State Fair race weekend. We'll be there for sure.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

That would be fine Andrew but We're bringing my 5 yr old grandson so that will be a handful all in itself.
