It was really neat for Despain to close the final Wind Tunnel show with Gordon. Remember that when this show opened Gordon was already a 3 time Nascar champ. With Gordons past record as an open wheel star, Despain never let us forget that part of his records. In one of the last questions from Dave to Jeff, he asked if he would recommend starting a racing career on dirt in open wheel. Gordon was emphatic with answer which was yes. So to those folks who have felt that Gordon had abandoned open wheel racing , this clearly shows that the roots are still there for Jeff Gordon. I have always stated that my racing heros are sprint car drivers and Gordon is one of my heros.

The picture Dave put up during the interview of Jeff holding a toddler by the name of Kyle Larson was really neat as well!
