3rd Annual Sprint Week Super Bowl

Brownsburg Bowl - July 16, 2013 - drivers registration at 6pm - bowling starts at 7pm

Bowl with all your favorite Indiana Sprint Week drivers at Brownsburg Bowl the night before Terre Haute. New format will have all drivers rotating through each lane so you will get to bowl with all drivers if you choose to bowl.

A completely race themed bowling alley; Brownsburg Bowl is located at 18 Whittington Drive in Brownsburg, Indiana. Courty Cares collects toy donations for kids in the hospital suffering from cancer. Toys for all ages....infant to teens both boys and girls. In addition to toys, they also collect travel size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, etc. These items are donated to the Ronald McDonald House to be available to the families staying there.

Not to mention before hand you can stop by Pit Stop BBQ just down the road for some good food. Completely race themed as well. They have a couple of midgets in the restaurant.

Just my 2 cents worth, but 3 points to add to this post...

#1 is THE CAUSE, THE CAUSE, THE CAUSE...besides a night of fun for the drivers and fans, this is meant to be a fund raiser for Courty Cares. When so much of the world is saying "what's wrong with kids these days" here in central Indiana we have Courtland Cottle, who has taken it upon herself to gather toys (& cash to buy even more toys) to donate to children's hospital for great kids who are in alot worse shape then most of us. Please come out to this event, bring a toy (or a bag of toys) or cash and help out this wonderful cause. Make it your good deed for the day and know that you will put a smile on a childs face when they receive a new toy in the hospital.

2nd point is to be able to see our sprint car drivers let loose and have some fun. We seldom have the opportunity to get up close with our favorite drivers, get some autographs, buy your favorite drivers t-shirt from the driver themselves & let the kids meet their heroes (& my heroes too) without the helmet on. This is always a great night of fun, and a part of Indiana Sprint Weeks that shouldn't be missed.

& point 3, yes...the Pit Stop Grill for their racin' ribs and sweet potato fries, oh my. Make sure to schedule extra time there, there is so much to see. Go to the end of the hallway and check out the old "autographed" 16th St. Speedway programs.

Lots of give-aways, the silent auction, the bowling, the drivers, and they even sell beer there, so you know it's a party, HARF will be in the house with some prizes too, hope to see you there, bob.

HARF is adding to the Silent Auction table a Kenny Irwin Jr. package, consisting of a (new in package) t-shirt when KI drove the Lewis / Beast #9 midget, a (new in box) KI mailbox, one of the first trophies that KI won when he started in the go carts, an autographed collectors card, and a few others pieces from his midget and NASCAR career. Please come out and enjoy this fun night and bid on some one of a kind auction items, bob.
