bench type seating can rent chairback seats, NCKfree fair going on, Belleville High Banks hall of fame and National Midget Museum, memorabilia auction Sat. morning, lots of sitting around in camping area talking racing, swimming pool, 2 good restaurants, pizza hut, DQ, Mr. Goodcents, After 5 Sports bar & grill on west side of downtown square

No coolers allowed in the grandstand at the Highbanks. Beer is sold at the track, plus there's a beer garden on the fairgrounds just outside the track.
All the seating is good for watching the races. Since there are no haulers in the infield, even the lower rows offer unobstructed viewing.
There aren't many attractions in Belleville, but if you appreciate mechanical ingenuity, the Boyer Museum is a worthwhile stop. It's just south of the park, and on the way to the track. Other than that, you might enjoy visiting the exhibits at the fair.

there is real good article in the July Speed Sport news Belleville at a Crossroads written by Brian Gapinski telling how the nationals have come thru the years
