Some questions from a newby attending this year's event.... what type of seating is there (i.e bench, seatbacks, etc)? Are coolers allowed in? Any must see activities?

Thanks for any info!

No coolers allowed in the grandstand at the Highbanks. Beer is sold at the track, plus there's a beer garden on the fairgrounds just outside the track.

All the seating is good for watching the races. Since there are no haulers in the infield, even the lower rows offer unobstructed viewing.

There aren't many attractions in Belleville, but if you appreciate mechanical ingenuity, the Boyer Museum is a worthwhile stop. It's just south of the park, and on the way to the track. Other than that, you might enjoy visiting the exhibits at the fair.

You can PM me if you have any questions.
