Does anyone sell a kit to build your own headers for a lightning sprint? My car has an 07 CBR1000 and I don't want to spend $500 on a header. Ive been trying to find a place to buy a DIY kit for a while with no real luck. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks.

Go on line find some mandrel bends in either 180 deg or "J" bends in the size you want. Hope you have some flanges? Then you start cutting, fitting and welding, and after the first 8 hours or so of work you can appreciate why they charge so much for them.

One little note their ain't much difference in them from Yamaha to Suzuki to Honda or even Kawasaki. If you had and old set off of another engine you could cut your cutting and welding down a whole bunch.

We make our own and I wouldn't make one for $500.00.

I buy the flanges, tri-Y collectors, and mandrel bends from here: www.spdexhaust.com

...about as close as you'll come to a "kit".
