Now that the MTQRL season opener has been pushed back to Friday May 31st at Gas City I-69 Speedway there is still plenty of time to mail in your license & registration forms.

All cars and drivers must be properly licensed with all paperwork completed & fees paid before they are allowed on the track. Since our first race is on a work day we know that time will be at a premium. We do not want anyone to miss their practice session while waiting to have their paperwork approved.

If your paperwork is received before the opening race the additional insurance coverage of $50,000 will be in effect for both Gas City & Montpelier. If you sign up at the track the coverage will not begin until the following race on June 22nd at Shelbyville.

The license & registration forms are available for download on the MTQRL website. If you would like to have a copy mailed to you contact Sandy Lowe at (812) 614-9398 or mtqrl.pr@gmail.com.

Please be aware that all minor drivers (those under the age of 18) must have BOTH parents sign the 2013 Annual Parental Consent, Release & Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, & Indemnity Agreement.

WIN A FREE PIT PASS TO THE JUNE 22ND RACE AT SHELBYVILLE

The MTQRL will hold a random drawing for free entrance to the pit area as an incentive for all car owners and drivers to be pre-registered before the first race. The free pit pass will be valid on June 22nd at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbyville, Ind.

To be qualified for the drawing you must be a licensed car owner or driver on or before May 24th. MTQRL owners and drivers already registered are eligible and are noted as current on the ‘Driver’ page of the MTQRL website. Any owners or drivers that mail in their completed license and registration forms, along with the appropriate fees, postmarked no later than May 24th will also participate in the drawing.

Each properly licensed car owner and driver will receive one chance in the drawing. If the car owner and driver are the same person they will be entered twice. If one person owns two cars they will also have two chances. A car that has two or more owners will only receive one chance.

For the small price of a postage stamp you will be able to bypass the line to have your paperwork approved at Gas City and you may also be able to save $25 at Shelbyville with a free pit pass.
