Just to let anyone interested know that the usual excellent track conditions were on display Sunday as Dennis Erb beat out Randy Korte on a last lap pass after 40 laps of caution free action to win a UMP Summer Nationals feature. Saw a great lightning show to boot. Tom

I was there was well. Erb and Shirley came from way back to run 1st and 3rd. Korte and Erb put on a great race for several laps at the end. At one point about 4 or 5 cars were all in the mix for the lead. Saw Mat Neely wandering around under the stands during the rain delay. It was quite amazing how storms just did split the track and the lightning was quite spectacular.

Ron,
They had a nice crowd, bigger than the last sprint show I would say. I wouldn't mind a sprint/late model show sometime. Had about a 20 minute rain delay- never rained hard at all- and the trucks ran the track in after the rain. Never brought a tractor out all night. Was home by 11pm

I was there as well and the Late Models put on an Awesome Show! Hard to beleive they were 2 and 3 wide a couple of times and never touched each other and not 1 "super slide" job to pass :applaud:.
Modifieds also put on a good show. Hated to see Evert Bradahm get beat.
