Guess the whole "USAC won't ever be allowed back" thing got resolved.

Not doubting you Papa Outlaw but I checked both the BRP and the USAC websites and there was no mention of this on either.

If this is true it goes to show that one should never say never. I really hope everyone gets along this year and years to come so this can evolve into a February tradition.

It's a bit worrisome though, in addition to Bubba's dust up with USAC in February, this summer he got into a huge pissing match with the family of a fellow who BRP held a memorial race weekend for late models (I think?) in honor of. From what I gathered from our relatives who live near Ocala that whole deal got a little ugly.

It seems that maybe Bubba isn't the easiest guy to co-exist with but it's great that USAC will be back next February. The nights that it didn't rain there was an ample car count and a really good crowd of spectators and money to be made by all concerned which will always change minds and create a certain degree of harmony.

The racing was good enough that, for sure, we'll go back down to spectate.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

usac should look at Eastbay for their annual trip to Florida. Bay area and bigger draw from west coast cities and loads of "midwest" snow birds to draw from.

The problem with East Bay is that they never tell anyone what they are running. The last time USAC ran there, I sat beside an Upstate NY snowbird race fan who lived 15 miles away and had no idea that USAC was there until he got there.

The trouble with Eastbay is they have no idea how to treat there fans. I love watching the non wing cars there but that track has to be THE most fan unfriendly track I have ever been to. Just my opinion, but I hope USAC never races there again.

Three nights at East Bay or Volusia & three nights at Ocala would get me back over to Florida in February without question.

I did enjoy the USAC East Bay Shows a few years back, and met a whole host of great Hoosiers
