It has been a couple of years now since I spent New Years at home, and I'm not sure I would know how to do it or even enjoy it now. Since our clean energy economy has made hauling one race car a 1000 miles very expensive why not find a few 50 foot car haulers or semi trailers with lift gates and head out to Tulsa or Florida. That old truck don't know the difference between 1 car or 7 cars. The fuel mileage is the same. If done right by taking off the tail and rear bumper it would be easy to get five to seven cars in a 50 foot trailer with a few spare parts, tires and tools. The racers could drive their own family cars to the race or even car pool and save more gas.

This idea would take a person with some logistics skills to accomplish, but it could be done. I would gladly pay five or six hundred dollars for a ride out to Tulsa or down to Florida and I bet it wouldn't be too hard to get 6 others to go with me.

Are there any other ideas out there?

A guy could probably take off the tail and rear bumper, stand them up at a 45 degree angle with the front axles resting on load stabilizers and get at least 8 of them in there. Let's see Eight time $500.00 = $4000.00 that would probably pay my way there and back.
