Received a facebook request this evening from a friend with a message from Jen Streit pleading for prayers on behave of her Dad. The message I received said Jen's Dad, Jeff Bloom was seriously burned while running his sprint car at Berlin Saturday night in a horrific accident.

Only local news this morning was he is being treated for burns on his arms. Last night at the track it was stated he had burns on his arms and legs. It was hard to see from where we were sitting at the track. But it seemed he was in the car a long time before he got out. Also the car sat at the top of the banking of the track with what looked to be fuel running under it-burning. I have watched Jeff race more years then I can remember-hope he has a fast return to racing.
