As alot of you know, Nick Speidel had a bad flip last Saturday night in his sprint car and was admitted into the hospital in ICU with a punctured lung and his collar bone broke in 2 places. :crying: He came home on Sunday night, but had very bad abdominal pains and nausea so was admitted back into the hospital on Monday. They did tests and think it is abdominal trauma (probably from belts). He came back home this evening (Wednesday) :applaud: After checking out the damage on his car (1st time he's seen it since the wreck) he is now resting at home  Dont know yet when he will be back in the saddle again but wild horses wont keep him from the tracks. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully we're on our way to a full recovery!

Glad to hear Nick is going to be ok. I have broken both of my collar bones not at the same time but almost exactly one year apart back when I was about 12 or 13 talk about pain and the hardest part is moving that arm and trying to sleep this will take at least 6 weeks to heal that, well thats how it went for me back then.

Good luck and hope for a speedy recovery.

I am so sorry to hear about Nick, and the accident he had. I was just commenting to someone this week about how impressive Nick looked in a TQ at Bloomington a few weeks ago. Nick is a good racer, and has a bright future. let's hope and pray he is back soon! God Bless, Nick!
