Can someone tell me the differences between these two cars .... I know the tripple X is midget suited , and the DLX lightninig sprint.... but are they the same chassis ???? the reason I ask is I can buy Tripple X locally here in Australia but not the DLX.... and I need it for Lightning sprint... any info appreciated ... thanks Steve

they cut the seat bar and put in a long fantasy bar that is bent into a s going from the end of the cut seat bar to a lower cross member the put the wing mounts on a little nub by the steering wheel to mount a clutch handle and thats a dlx they dont do much.

Easy answer. Call Triple X and DLX and ask them. Both are good people. They will answer ALL your questions correctly.

They are essentially the same car with a few alterations that have been mentioned. But I promise you that if you bought the TripleX and did all the conversions etc you would have rather just ordered the DLX and saved a lot of time, work and maybe even a little $$$. Check out racingjunk dot com there is one race ready on there for $14,000 America that's only a year or two old and a proven winner on a national level.

Also, you may check out Outlaw Race Parts, I am sure they could help provide a source for cheap shipping. They are a DLX dealer and I know they have shipped a car or two down under already.
