Any idea where the midget drivers will be this weekend? USAC is at Dodge County while POWRi will be going back to back at Kansas City (Valley) and Wheatland (Lucas Oil). To make matters evern more exciting, there is a local Kansas City group running at a third track on Saturday night.

I love midgets racing in my area. I hate it when the car count gets split.

I'm with you, Jonr. I know the racing season is relatively short, and sanctioning bodies need to make the best use of the weekends they have available, but it sure would be nice if the sanctioning bodies would at least try to get together on scheduling...for the benefit of the fan base, as well as the racers. I'll be at Dodge City tomorrow night, but I'm expecting a very short field. Quality for sure, but I'll be surprised if there are 20 cars in attendance. Last year, RMMRA included this race on their schedule, and brought 8 or 10 cars, but not so this year. I'm not sure how many Powri regulars would drive so far from their home turf, even if they didn't have their own shows scheduled. Probably not many. Also of concern to me is that attendance was poor at last year's show. It was cold, and it was Easter weekend. We don't have the holiday to contend with this year, and the forecast is for temps in the mid- to upper-80s for this weekend, so I hope that makes some difference.

Recieved a tweet that USAC has 26 cars. That is a good car count for them. I doubt I will see that many tonight at Valley.

I see they had 29 cars with Brett Anderson winning over Chett Gerhke "The one man driving machine"

Good races last night at Valley. Cars were very fast. Even had a slider on the last lap for the lead in turns 3 and 4, but the leader was able to pass him back after the slide. Thinking real hard about the 2.5 hour drive to Wheatland tonight.
