Did the "official decision" on Steve Buckwalter seem fair, or did "the East German judge scored the USA skater as dead last".

Moved from 1st to 26th seems tough to me, but I wasn't there.

Alright, I was not there, but I've obtained this link from Midget Madness. I've watched it a time, or two. It really seems to me to be a "racin' deal" where two guys were going for the win. I don't think that it looks like Buckwalter ran over Pauch, or took him out. Very harsh call, IMO...

I did determine that the video of that excellent midget event could not possibly have been at Grandview. :winkAl Consoli has always maintained that Grandview was "big time" dusty.

Hi Bill, I apologize for our absence. Grandma Kim took a trip Wednesday which wore her out (still not 100% from that monster spine surgery clear back in December). She was determined to go to "Carb Day" today (oh pooh - it is raining like the dickens here today, and our crappy weather almost always go to Indy in a few hours). So I decided to stay home so she would rest her back Thursday.
I hope nobody vandalized your bicycle while you were guarding seats for us!

Actually Steve, he made up some kind of BS story about the bicycle having to flat tires etc and the neighbor boy stole it.:headbang
