If you've been at the Speedway during the month of May, I'm sure you've seen Chuck around. Chuckie has sold newspapers at IMS for years. He has a book out about his life and his time at the track and Indy Car racing. Chuck is a great guy.

I know Chuck and also the guy who brings him to the track each morning.

I see Chuck in the garage area every day I'm at the track. I've always thought is was really cool how people take care of him out there. Kanaan is probably the driver that watches out for him the most in this era.

Sometimes during the month of May Chuck stayed at a house on Falcon Drive. That way Chuck walked to work. I think Jeff has sold the house and moved to Texas. I have no idea where Wolfman lives at these days.

One of the owners, Ron Hemelgarn I think, used to pay his way to a few of the other races each year. Chuck is definitely a beloved figure in the garage area.
