How much throttle pedal travel do sprint cars have. I'm sure the fine tuning is driver preference. But was wondering about what it typically is. Thanks

I'd say measured vertically, you're looking at 3 inches, maybe a little more, or a little less, you don't have a lot of room to make it real long, and you need some "feel" to it also, but that would be close. Bob!

The pedals that mount on the floorpan and pivot under your heel usually have about 2-2.25 inches of travel from fully closed to wide open...the pedals that mount on the motorplate or on a side framerail seem to have a bit more travel...about 3 inches..at least that's how the cars I have driven have been.....I am sure there is more variance than that in different peoples cars.

It depends on the injection setup; most Kinsler's have two bell cranks and more pedal travel. Engler's have one bell crank and less pedal.
