Anyone heard the fate of Gas City in 2012? I know the website says its for sale but was curious about next season.

Their website says next race April 2012.

Also, the 2012 USAC and Indiana Sprintcar schedules on this website shows Gas City Dates as early as April 20th.

Opening night is Friday April 13, 2012 with a regular program.

Hope the weather is good, pits are full of sprints, UMP Mods, Street Stocks and Thunder cars with every seat in the grandstand full.

Thanks for the info. guys. I figured they would still be running but hadn't really heard anything about the track in the offseason. Just looking forward to all the tracks posting their 2012 schedules.

The tenative schedule has been posted on the tracks website . Everyone have a great weekend.

I have the tentative 2012 Gas City scheduled posted on the website. For some reason, I keep getting a "censored word" when I try posting it on the forum. As Danny indicated, we will open the season April 13 and have USAC Sprints Border Wars with Eldora on April 20. KISS is on May 11, USAC National Midgets on WEDNESDAY June 13, USAC Sprint Week on July 13, Lewis Morgan Memorial race on Sept. 7. Final race will be Sept. 28. The track will be closed 4 Friday nights due to other special races going on in the state.
