Gaerte Stealth midget equipment available for Chili Bowl rental! The "-12"/Chevy head style engine has operated without issue of late (track tested one month ago). Professionally "freshly" assembled rear-end. ARS shocks (cockpit adjustable rears) dyno-tested 2 races ago. Springs and torsion bars in good condition - no junk! "Trick" rear bird-cages. Plenty of sissy bars around the cage - this car is safe!
$3,200 (plus a $999 crash deposit - which would be applied to ANY and all damage due to any and all collisions in and around the said event) would allow for use of all the mentioned equipment (up to renters regarding new tires, etc.). All legit/no gimmicks (unless interested renter wanted to "complicate" with their own transportation plan; I would be bringing ALL my spare parts...)!
No egos to deal with here - although I do have a large notebook acquired over 15 years of involvement in the sport available as somewhere we can start with any not experienced in dirt midget racing at least. You and your set-up guy can call the shots though!!! With the right combination of all the elements, there is no reason this car can not be competitive (car is a previous BMARA feature winner; including the Pepsi Nationals, and has recorded top marks at the prestigious Angel Park Speedway as recently as 2010. Ran with the leaders at DuQuoin before and more!).
Serous inquires only. The equipment is located near Rockford Speedway in Machesney Park, IL (90 miles West of Chicago; just below the WI stateline). The current Ultra Raceshield (?) seat is just under 13" wide (veteran Kevin Olson fit fine in 2010); but you can mount what would work best. For those in the know; it is a "33" car" and with the current rear axle, the center of the RR tire can almost reach out 19" from the frame.
