Bud passed away in his sleep last night, some of you may remember Bud back when Steve Butler was racing, Bud made sure Steve had what he needed to be the racer he was. Bud helped a lot of drivers including Josh a few seasons ago. Bud served his country his family at home and his family at the track. You will be missed my friend.

Yes, truly sad news. Bud was a kind, pleasant gentleman who did a lot of good things for people without looking for any kind of attention or reward.

RIP, Bud...you made the sport better just by being a part of it.

Sad news.

As Dave said truly a kind gentleman. It was always a pleasure to talk with Bud and the Williams family will have Bud and his family in our Christmas prayers.

You will not find a kinder guy than Bud. I got to spend a lot of time with him growing up crewing on several cars he helped out on and throughout the years at various race tracks.

RIP Bud.

When I think of Bud, my thoughts are we just lost a great sportsman. Bud put his money into the sport for enjoyment. He never ask for anything back or tried to make a living off of the racring people. Also a good businessman for the city of Kokomo. Sportsman like Bud are becoming harder to find. Bud was a super person in all ways. Thanks for the ride. RIP BUD
