Pat Sullivan will be at Etc by Wham Bam this Thursday evening, May 8 at approx 6:45 to sign copies of his new book, "Brick by Brick." This book is a very neat story of the life of Joie Ray, who was a pioneering African American racer in the 1940s' and '50s. Joie collaborated with Pat to complete the book just before Joie's death in April 2007 at age 83.

Etc. is located on the northwest corner of 16th and Lynhurst in Speedway. Etc carries lots of racing-related books, clothing, and other things and it's a fun place to hang out. You never know who you'll see at Etc!

Come by and see Pat and have him sign a copy of the book. Marie is offering a "Racer's Special" price of $20 per copy.

It's a very interesting book and a fun read. I'll be there as well so please come by and visit.

Here is Danny Burton's review of "Brick by Brick": http://www.openwheelracers.com/Staff...Burton OWR.htm

Thanks and see you all there!

I just put my order in. I hope that sample chapter was not the only good thing in the book. lol. I enjoyed it enough that now I can't wait for the book to get here.:thumb:thumb:thumb

If I could now just find me autographed copies of American Scene & Let em All Go I can finish my Argabright set.
