Stolen Race Equipment at Canadian Nationals! Please Read!
The entire race team of Ben Rutan has been stolen from a hotel parking lot in Brantford during the Canadian Nationals this morning. The truck and trailer were stole around 5:50 a.m. Saturday and have not been seen since. It is estimated that with the amount of fuel in the truck, they could not have gotten more than 50 miles of the hotel before being forced to fill up. It is a dark green ford four door dually and a blue 40 foot Pace gooseneck trailer with a raised rear roof. Please, anybody with information on the truck, trailer or thousands of dollars worth of equipment that was inside please call local authorities immediately! Also, if you read this, please pass it on to any message board that may have access to the area. Your help is much appreciated!

A friend of mine, a Michigan State Trooper, had his Formula Ford, trailer and other equipment stolen near Brantford. The car was found stripped on the Six Nations Indian Reservation. The trailer was never located.

Definately hate to hear this! I have hunted in Canada for years and from what the locals tell us-the Indians will steal anything they can get their hands on.

Apparently their passports were in the truck. Rough weekend.
