The Indiana Open Wheel Driver Championship or the IOWDC needs some sponsors who are willing to support a point fund that will be paid to the best performing drivers.

Drivers will be given points for their TOP 5 finishes at every dirt nonwing sprint car race in the state of Indiana... At the end of the season the drivers with highest point totals will be presented the awards at the Indy Circle Track Expo in January. Drivers must be present to collect the money.

As of now, the total amount drivers will be awarded has not been determined. Other than the fees it costs to process the credit card payments, 100% of the contributions will be used to pay the drivers.

This is your chance to really become part of Indiana Open Wheel racing. Please support our sprint car heros, it only costs $20 to join the point fund.

I want to thank every driver that straps in a racecar. I hope you realize how much enjoyment you provide others. I am going to contribute $250 to the point fund. Thanks guys!

To contribute to this fund, please visit this link... https://www.indianaopenwheel.com/IOWDC.php
You will also find the current standings, this seasons schedule and the point system that will be used.

Rule Clarification: The current point system awards 43 pts for the feature event. Tracks that run multiple features will still receive only 43 pts.

If a track uses a qualifying system and runs an "A & B" feature, the "A" feature top 5 will be awarded the 43 points.
The "A" feature is the primary feature event. The "B" feature is made up of all drivers who did not earn a spot in the "A" feature.

If a track does not use qualifying system to make the feature then the 43 pts will be split evenly between the 2 features.

The point system would look like
Feature #1
1st - 6 pts; 2nd - 5 pts; 3rd - 4 pts; 4th - 3.5 pts; 5th - 3 pts.
Feature #2
1st - 6 pts; 2nd - 5 pts; 3rd - 4 pts; 4th - 3.5 pts; 5th - 3 pts.
Total of 43 pts.
