DAVE STEELE RETURNS TO SILVER CROWN FOR RE TECHNOLOGIES/ HEMELGARN ENTERPRISES AT MILWAUKEE

Blake Johnson RE Technologies/ Hemelgarn Enterprises PR Black Dog Media (901) 210-8525

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Dave Steele returns to the TRAXXAS USAC Silver Crown Series this weekend driving for RE Technologies/ Hemelgarn Enterprises at the Milwaukee Mile.

“Milwaukee was the first place I ever raced a Silver Crown™ car and we have always seemed to run pretty decent here,” said driver of the No. 99 RE Technologies/ Hemelgarn Enterprises Roush-Yates Ford Redline entry. “I have always been a fan of this track.”

Dave Steele won the 2005 USAC Silver Crown race at the Milwaukee Mile. The two-time USAC Silver Crown champion will drive the pavement races for RE Technologies/ Hemelgarn Enterprises this season.

“It is good to be back and try to knock a little rust off of here on this hundred miler.”

Steele warmed up today at the Milwaukee Mile during a USAC test session coming in second quick.

“The No. 99 RE Technologies/ Hemelgarn Enterprises Roush-Yates Ford Redline car handled pretty decent right out of the box. The Roush-Yates Ford engine is running pretty good. If I can put together a hundred laps I think we will be in pretty good shape.”

A FULL OPEN WHEEL WEEKEND AT MILWAUKEE MILE The USAC Silver Crown Series is slated to hit the track for practice Friday at 12:15pm. Qualifying is set for 6:30pm. The USAC Silver Crown and .25 Midgets are scheduled to race Saturday night at 6:30pm. In addition to USAC, the IZOD IndyCar Series, Firestone Indy Lights, USF2000 and Star Mazda series are scheduled to race on Sunday.
