I live less than 10 miles due East of the 'burg. It is wet in my yard but the sun is shining and it's partly cloudy here. If that keeps up it will help a bunch. The bulk of the rain here happened last night from 5-7 when we got dumped on like you wouldn't believe.
The good news is, unlike April and May, the ground was not saturated to begin with. Hopefully Dave can get it done ala opening night.
Upon edit:
Just checked Facebook where Lawrenceburg Speedway reiterated "RACING TONIGHT." Dave below with a two word comment "Be there!"
I was just over there, and while Dave was on the grounds (his truck was at the tech. bldg.), I didn't find him. But, it looked good to me as of now. Track, pit area, parking areas, all looked decent. The on/off roads to the track have been paved so they won't be problematic. Lots of motorhomes and campers set up with more rolling in as I left. I'd say it all depends on how the rest of the morning and afternoon goes weather wise. I'm sure Dave and/or Kim will keep us advised. Or, we could just check with D.O., Walls Racing, SHORTBUS, and several other of the leading 'Burg fans here on IOW.

Hopefully with all the rain the track will have moisture in it tonight and we can run up on the track instead of huggy poling the tires in the feature.
