Well, the guy hit the nail on the head about the Versus thing. that's about all though. I got a chuckle about the watching paint dry comment. Evidently he hasn't endured a six hour nascrap telecast!

Personally, I think she's the second best female driver in Indy cars right now. If she was to leave would anyone even notice? Can you imagine Rowdy Bush and the others putting up with her every week? They don't give me enough room, They keep running into the back of my car, They never move out of the way, when I'm behind them, etc.

Good Luck to Crapcar

Second best by a long shot, however she is an American. But, i think Simona could get pretty close to the same star power, especially if she could get a win. She has a great personality and is a hell of a racer.

Is Hendrick Motorsports considering an Penske alliance in IndyCar?

I've heard rumblings of this, and those are indeed Penske stickers. But who knows. The interesting thing is the bit about penske being interested in Simona. I think a lot of teams will be interested to the point she won't be with HVM next year. Andretti to replace Danica was always my hunch but maybe not. the time between now and the start of the 2012 indycar season will be very interesting on many fronts!

How many top 10s does she have to score to get some respect as a driver? And what Andretti Racing team member beat her? You can choose not to like her, but the fact is she has been very consistent here.

I am certainly not a fan of hers but my problem is with the media and especially the talking heads. They can't seem to ever say enough about her and in my opinion, limited success. They will show her every move while losing track of other drivers who deserve the attention.

It will be interesting to see how she adapts to the NASCRAP way of life. More races on the schedule, driving a much heavier stock car with more up close and personal racing will certain test her patience, physical endurance and ability. Remember, cup races are longer in distance than she is used to running over the course of the season. She hasn't done very well when other drivers have raced and rubbed on her so it will be interesting to see the results when she runs fulltime.

She will have to endure the fans of other drivers as well. She won't be a fan favorite if she doesn't change her attitude. Her little hissy fits won't win over the masses. I can see the boys at Talledaga really warming up to her.

It's your choice to like or not like a driver. Their attitude, their driving skills, whining, etc. Whatever. But to not like a driver because of their gender is just plain absurd.

Seadog, I tend to agree with you, it is a man's world, so to speak, and I'd say it would be damn difficult to walk, and talk like a man, when you're a woman. She is this, as far as I'm concerned, as well as the rest of the ladies, a very intense racer, and as far as I'm concerned, very professional, and very talented, but she doesn't talk like a "man", it's difficult for any of the ladies to answer the questions they get asked, because of their focus, on what they are about to do. I gotta say, I had the fortune to help a young lady one time, and she was focused, and it was something she wasn't born with, but she could sure drive the wheels off a race car, and still be a "lady". I don't look for Danica to move to Nicecar, and I think she's happy where she is, and it fits her style better, as well as the others that have joined her this season. I say, give em a chance, I don't know of many that would have the kahuna's to flat foot one of them danged rockets. Bob!
