As I promised last month I would only post when something new has happened. Andrew went for another MRI today and the results are back. The initial tumor is again smaller in size and where it was dark before it now has a white spot. The good news is that it is not growing and is still shrinking in size. Also there is no indication of spread to other areas as there are no other tumors in his brain or spine. The treatment options are still working and for this we are so very thankful.

Also since my last post he is now walking by himself. It appears that we were doing too much for him and not allowing him to be a normal boy on his own. After only 3 physical therapy sessions he was walking on his own. This brings the old man a great deal of joy.

He is still not out of the woods yet but with each treatment he seems to get stronger and his mood is happy and his energy level is high. He will continue to be on chemo approximately every three weeks through the end of October. In fact he is about 1/2 way through the chemo rounds of the original protocol.

To all of the people who are praying, sending thoughts and well wishes all I can say is thank you so very much. His journey continues and we appreciate your interest in a little boy named Andrew. I hope to see you all at the races to thank you personally.

Ahhhh, the perfect way to end my work week, and begin the weekend. Good, good news.

I know the incredible amount of emotions (stress, grief, pain, hope, love, happiness, sadness, joy) flowing in each of your family members during this experience. My wife and I went through similar circumstances with our little girl. As I am sure you have, continue to lean on each other, and keep pouring all your love on that little boy. It will carry you all through.
