Word on the street has it that Darland out @ Goodnight Racing. He will drive for Jeff Walker next week at Vernon, and the following week @ Eldora.

Can anybody explain to me why a USAC legend is always ride hopping? Does he not bring enough money?

When your as good as DD, you don't bring no stinkin' money, they hire him to drive.

Kind of sad to not see him in the Goodnight car. He and cripe had pretty good success and got all there was out of it. I really wish he could get solid rides in all divisions and make a run at another championship or even the NDC

Dave didn't seem to happy down in florida....and i didn't see any goodnights around to help him....looked pretty frusrated to me

Before all the rumors start DD and I have both left the 39 Goodnight racing team as everyone knows.First we would like to thank Gene and Matt Goodnight for giving Dave and I the chance to work together last year.The Goodnights have chose not to run as much this year as they did last year so dd had to pursue other opportunity"s.I myself will also pursue other opportunitys this year.We would also like to say thanks to our sponsor's last year.They are pallett builders,Buds Auto Sales,CSI Shocks,Rodney and Holley Reynolds,Indy Race parts,Drc Chassis and Jeff Claxton for building the great motors that we run.
Dave and I would like to say thanks to the people that helped us get to florida to race to start the season and they are Claxton Motors,CSI shocks,Steve Wierich of Rotondo Weirich,Dallas Mulvaney,and Rodney and Holly Reynolds and a Jason Goacher for lending us a motor.
I myself would like to say say thanks to DD for being such a great friend.We had a great time last year running up and down the highways together last year.Goodluck to you and your new team.When its all said and done we will always be good friends!!!!!
