Man...that brings back alota memories!!.. Calif. Mid-Winter Fair Days!!...for Me!!...Not so much for the X-Wife!!..oh well, stuff happens....said we'd be home in few days,b4 Cell Phones...Yeah!!...Ascot Pac. Coast Natl,El Centro Ca.Mid-Winter Fair,Manzy West.World,Tucson..??,Chula Vista Spdway 117,then mabe home!!...but was gone in MotorHome 2 weeks!!...next trip was alot easier,only needed Vac. from Work ....didn't havta ask!!...no one ta ASK!!.......cya at da "Copper on Dirt" next!!..........

Yes!!!Bruce Lots of memories .Was stationed at NAS ElCentro with USAF 1961-1965 .Was big 1/2 mile.Gordon Wooley ,Lil Joe ,Paul Jones and others .Return for races up to early 70s.Last time i was there it had been cut like so many to 3/8 or less.Guy me behind at Indy swap meet had some great shots of sprints and supers from 40s-now.I did get a action shot of Sammy in Fedex Car .
Ascot ,Speeway 117 and others in late 70s and early 80s worked San Diego.Would do ASCOT weekly .Speedway 117 went WOO and CRA there.
