The racing today was really boring compared to Sarurday night. Dave started on pole and hit the huggypole for 40 laps. Coons right on his nerf. I don't think the top 8 changed positions all 40 laps. Saturday night was cool though. The first heat was about the most exciting race I've seen in years. I really hope they (Badgers) start their season at the Sandbox every year. Racey little track, fun atmosphere, indoors and comfortable temps.....fun weekend overall. Congrats DD! :respect:
David.

Racegal, I would imagine it was nerve-racking for you. If Dave had made one bobble or slip up Coons would have been all over him. But he didn't, he did a masterful job and deserves the win. As in "boring" I meant 40 laps and the top 8 were nose to tail, no change in positions at all. Nobody dared get off the low line for fear of getting freight-trained to the rear. No disrespect but, from a fans point of view, it was a boring race. Glad it worked out well for Dave though.
David.

Ovalmeister, I know exactly what you mean! I didn't take my eyes off car 1 and 2 for a second so I didn't know if there was passing or not! I hope they make it an annual event too! Congratulations Dave!!:applaud:
