I live about five minutes from Plymouth Speedway (although that does not make me an expert on the track), and I can tell you that this rumor has come up about every year since Warsaw Speedway closed. And maybe even before that. I would love to have a dirt track that close, especially if they ran sprint cars, but I don't think it is going to happen. I expect the big annoucement will be that because South Bend Speedway is reopening and going to run Saturday nights, they are switching to Fridays (or maybe Sundays).

I heard they were going to move the whole track fifteen feet to the East and flop it end for end...

I'm with you Tom, expect to hear they are moving their show off of Saturday. I always liked Plymouth on Sundays, but it isn't my call for sure!

If it were going to dirt I'd think there would be more action around there than what there is.

I think with South Bend being bought and then announcing they were running on Saturday night like every other pavement track in Northern Indiana has brought a lot of head scratching to promoters and fans up there! Adding another Saturday night track running the same classes is going to throw a big turd in the punch bowl!!
I hope something can get cars on the track and people back in the stands in this area. Plymouth is a great track the way it is or it would be great as a dirt track!

Heard a tri-track deal with SBMS, M-40, and Plymouth. 3 nights same rules, common points?
