Are there any updates on him?

I was told at the track last night that Daren is ok. His back was very sore back and they were planning an MRI just to be sure. Nothing more since late last night.

I just got off the phone with him. He said he had a fractured rib, torn ligaments around his spine and a shattered C6 vertabre. He does not know yet if they are going to surgery. Just keep Darren in your thoughts and prayers

That is too bad, Darren is a gasser and I always enjoy watching him. Was he in the Preistly #7 this week? In any case, prayers for a quick recovery, sounds like it was a tough crash.

INJURY UPDATE: Darren was involved in a racing accident last night at Perris Auto Speedway. His back is broken in two places, he has a torn muscle near his spine and is in a lot of pain. He can move all his arms, legs..etc, though. The doctors do expect a full recovery, but said he'll be out of a race car for the rest of the season. We ask that you keep Darren in your prayers.

Just another quick update.

Darren is back home at his parents house in California now and doing better. He'll go in for an MRI in 3 weeks to see how he's healing. Please continue to keep him in your prayers!

Sounds like no Chili Bowl for Darren. That's a shame.

Darren has been doing much better lately and is going in for x-ray's tomorrow. He'll be finding out how much longer he has to wear the back brace and how well he's been healing.

My families prayers go out to him for a quick recovery.Hope to see him gassin her up again soon.
