OFFICIAL SHANE HMIEL FUNDRAISER ANNOUCEMENT/ DATES AND LOCATIONS SET FOR “ROAD TO RECOVERY”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 4th, 2010 (Charlotte NC)- USAC star Shane Hmiel was involved in an accident running his Silver Crown car at Terre Haute’s Action Track on October 9th. Since that date, there has been an outpouring of support for him and his family as they adjust to these difficult times. The Hmiel family has been humbled by the willingness of everyone that has offered their time, energy, even financial assistance, to help out during his healing process.
While Shane remains in the hospital recovering, the bills begin to add up. And while the Hmiel family would never personally ask for any support, it is time for the family, friends and motorsports community to rally behind one of their own. Shane was making amazing strides to rebuild his career and work his way back up through the racing ranks. This comeback is NOT OVER. It’s a long one, but with everyone pitching in, we can all be a part of Shane’s Road to Recovery.
