Not sure what car Darland was in but the car Stanbrough was in is anything but junk. That was the same car Hockett dominated this race with last year.

Biggie has better equipment than Foxco does. In fact I think he told me it was a brand new Maxim.
BTW, Biggie is Steve Watt one of the top shock guys in the country. Thats who Jon drove for. Thought you might like to know since you don't seem to know a lot.
From what I could see it looked like Jon's car broke a spindle. The hub was still securely fastened to the wheel, but there was no spindle on the hub. Even new parts break sometimes. He looked fast, but no-one had anything for Faas. He was scary fast and got through traffic perfectly.

Not positive about this, but I believe that Darland was in a new sprint car provided by one of VRA's top mechanics. Neither Stanbrough's or Darland's rides were junk. I don't know where that comment would come from as the poster is a former driver.
