If I was to go to only one asphalt sprint car race (wing or non-wing) this year, which one would you reccomend? Anywhere in the country also.

Since I like pavement, all of them! But I agree with the above - Little 5 or any OW race at Winchester.

I was going to say the Little 500, but now that you all mention Winchester...that's a tough pick.

Little 500. I like to go on Wednesday. They have a 50 lap USAC sprint car race that evening, and the pits are filled as that is also the first day of practice for the Little 500 with the first day of qualifying on Thursday. The pit pass will get you into the grandstand with little difference in cost between it and the cost of just a grandstand ticket. If you like the hustle and bustle of preparations, it is a great time, with the chance to see many of the best pavement drivers in the country, both USAC and others. If you go to the Little 500, be sure to go to the drivers autograph session Saturday evening. In my experience, they make sure all the drivers are there. There will be a number of legends sitting at that table.
