I remember a race shop in Phoenix called "Fast Eddie Engines".
Was that the engine Shuman ran at the 1979 Nationals?

I think Ron Shuman was one on the smartest and most strategic drivers ever. It wouldn't surprise me after watching him at the Chili Bowl a few years back if he couldn't step right back in a car today and win.

I also remember an incredible Tony Hulman Classic that he won
in a very memorable run.

Couple of things to note:

1) That's Casey Ron is holding at 13 days old.

2) Take a look at the track photogs. Heck, they might as well just stand on the track.
