Pitsider Apparel was designed with one main goal…help young talented drivers make it in racing regardless of their financial situation. We launched the company last year helping young driver, Scott Hampton. Scott had an impressive first full season in sprint cars. He finished third in HARF points and had several top-five finishes. The 2008 season will see Scott behind the wheel of the #42 Pitsider Shoe car. In addition, Pitsider hopes to introduce a second car with a rotating cast of young drivers. (Before people start sending resumes, that is not how it will work. This process will not be political.) We are going to have several scouts and no one will know who these scouts are. They will have certain criteria in mind; attitude, potential, etc. As I said before, we hope to have this accomplished in 2008 but it depends heavily on the racing community’s help.

Pitsider is excited to announce a new shoe for 2008. This is not a racing shoe but is focused towards fans and crews. In 2008, Pitsider is collaborating with Glagla USA, the North and South American distributor of Baliston Shoes. Baliston is a French shoe company that would be the equivalent size company as Adidas is in the USA. Baliston’s main market is Europe. The new Glagla shoe is amazing. Last year, it hit Europe like Crocs did in the USA.

We are extremely excited Glagla has decided to create a Pitsider version of the Glagla shoe. What’s so amazing about the shoe is that it runs up to 11 degrees cooler than any other tennis shoe on the market, it weighs only 5.5 ounces, and can go from wet to dry in minutes. Take a look at the shoe at www.pitsider.com.

This opportunity can be huge and allow Pitsider to build a complete feeder system but we need your help. Please buy a pair of shoes and tell everyone you know about them. Glagla USA loves the Pitsider shoe concept. They are a big enough company to help achieve these goals but we must show them the validity of promoting shoes to race fans.

This is our chance. If you hate seeing young talented drivers not make it because they don’t have an endless trust fund, support Pitsider and we will support them.

Thank you.
