I just have to give a "shout out" to Daron Clayton. Congratulations on you victory on the TnT Tour last night. Not only that, but also the great runs that you've been having as of late. You were extremely solid during Sprint Week and have continued since then.
I'll be honest, it didn't look promising that we would be seeing you behind the wheel too much. This is after your stint putting the wing back on. I'm glad, along with many others, to see you back in action!
I'll say this, as a part time Clayton helper. He is EVERYTHING that you think he is in the cockpit. One speed......full on. And it shows. That's what sprint car racing is, and should be. Out of the cockpit, he's amazingly soft spoken. I was surprised. You'd think, given what you see on track, that he'd be hard to work for. He's not. He and Shelley sacrifice quite a bit, except for Kyra's needs, for sprint car racing. They deserve better than the current economic climate can provide.
