Today was my birthday and the best thing about the day was actually something that happened to another person.... Aaron Mosely let George Wilkins drive his sprint car tonight at LPS right before hotlaps. George and I share something that I know we both wish we didn't... Cancer.
Watching George take a few laps around LPS was a pretty cool moment to witness... and I wanted to share it with everyone else.
Thanks Aaron! And George, if you read this... Blake offered it... DRIVE IT! I hope you do, but as we discussed I also understand the challenge it presents. If you need to complete the deal and have another cancer patient wrench on it.... Count me in!

Bill, thanks for your kind words and it's been nice to sit a talk with you the last two weeks. We certainly have a special bone as we struggle with our cancer.
Aaron Mosley and his crew were awesome. Special thanks to the Lincoln Park track crew who gave me plenty of laps to get my itch scratched.
It was a blast to get back behind the wheel of a sprint car.
And as far as Blake's offer... As you and I talked, there are some things I need to consider. If I choose to do it, it has to be because I feel like I can win and nothing else. Wheel packing and standing on it out there on my own is one thing, racing is another.
And thanks to all of you guys for offering to help on the car!
George Hey man this is Jeff Sweat, call dad, Jim 765-661-6597, I'm glad to see this picture, cool thing to me. Let us know whats up with you these days.
