A busy weekend in the Cincinnati Modified Championship saw 4 different winners prevail. David Mcwilliams would start things off taking a brand new ride to victory lane at Moler Raceway Park on Friday night. This would be his third C.M.C. victory on the year. Saturday night would see current C.M.C. point leader and win leader, Rick Corbin take his victory total to nine at Florence Speedway. Daryl Herbert would claim his first victory on the season at Lawrenceburg. Then on Sunday at Lawrenceburg Shelby Miles would make his second C.M.C. start culminate in his second win. This time Miles would best the biggest C.M.C. field of the year to claim the Mel Johnson Classic. The rookie of the year standings took another shake up as Derrick Davis took over the top spot. This marks the the third different rookie of the year leader in as many weeks.
This weekend all 3 tracks are once again in action. Moler Raceway Park on Friday night. Also on Friday night the mods will run there heats at Florence Speedway. On Saturday they come back and run there features as part of the North South 100. Also on Saturday Lawrenceburg pays $1500 to win for the Modifieds as part of the American Modified Series.
