Many may know Dick Kercher (Kercher Engines). He and his family were honored today at the Indiana State Fair for having a family owned farm in the state of Indiana for over 100 YEARS!!! The honor was given by the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.

Dick and J.R Kercher have been working their giant farm, all the while turning out all types of great racing engines from the same property!!
Congrats to Brenda, Tanya, J.R., and Dick!

I finally got the chance to meet Dick recently during the Little 500 practice day. I always heard great things from many who use his engine expertise and I really enjoyed talking to him about racing in general. He's a great guy and I had no idea about his farm. What a neat family.
