A wild weekend saw a new point leader emerge in the Cincinnati Modified Championship as well as a new leader in the C.M.C. rookie of the year battle. Rick Corbin used his 8th win of the season to take a 2 point lead on long time point leader Matt Hamilton. Doug Adkins would win his 3rd of the year at Moler Raceway Park. At Lawrenceburg Speedway it was Brad Wieck taking his 2nd win of the season. At the end of the weekend we also saw a major change in the rookie of the year race. Kyle Schornick leads Derrick Davis by 4 points as both of those drivers passed season long leader Brandon Ramsey.

This weekend will be the most intense weekend in C.M.C. history. Friday the action kicks off at Moler Raceway Park. On Saturday both Lawrenceburg and Florence are running the C.M.C. modifieds. Then on Sunday the highest point paying night thus far in the C.M.C. as the Mel Johnson classic features are made up at Lawrenceburg with free admission to all.
