On top of all the great racing at Lawrenceburg Speedway on tap for this Saturday, Budweiser is hosting their Fan Appreciation Mardi Gras Party.

yes, blue skies just about on top of us now, track should be racy and fast with all the morning rain.

Just back from the track and all is looking good despite a .7" shower that passed through here about 7:a.m. or so. Talked to the boss (Dave......well, the boss after Kim that is ) and he says conditions are much better now than they were last week at this time. If you recall last week, the track was super fast after a half hour delay due to a 4:00 p.m. shower. Only an intense thunder and lightning display (not that much rain) shut 'er down for safety sake. Good call, IMO.

Bottom line, I'd say we're good to go tonight barring later downpours.

(An aside to Kim: Don't worry about a shirtless Section "A". We don't do free shows. For those with interest, see any of the Chippenwhales regulars for a schedule of upcoming performances. )
