After watching the www.jackslash.com video... It was great to see Jon and Dave shake hands and embrace after the races. 2 of Indiana's finest racing for 4 grand both knowing it was a racing deal. Neither one of them i am sure are happy with were they finished after dominating the feature but to see that was great. Congrats to Hocket, Shu and Clarke for great runs. Looking forward to a great season.

I'll tell you that was no racing deal!!!Jon pulled 5 or 6 slide jobs on him before the one that took them both out!!If I was Darland I would have spun him on about the third slide job!!

C'mon Agar you've been around long enuf to know that some people just like to *****. Should have seen the update thread last night. They were calling Jon a dirty driver and they didnt even see the race.

The only problem is Dave Darland passed JS with out a slide job. JS kept throwing slide job after slide and it did not work. If I was DD I would have been pissed took both of them out. It is better two settle for second and collect the money then take out the leader. JS needs to learn a little more patience.

Settle for 2nd....not happening with any good driver let alone two legends. Hockett said in the video tire pressures were messed up on alot of the vehicles after the stop, so I think its was hard racing that all of us love to watch. Hockett stated several times in the video it was very hard to pass. It was handled very respectfully by both drivers afterwards! You could see it on Jon's face that he was feeling terrible for what happened. Drivers are human, they race their asses off for very little reward. I respect both of them even more for the way they handled their emotions after the race. Men acting like men is not as common as it needs to be in this world anymore.

I thought it was a great race between two great drivers. Isn't slide jobs what non wing sprint car racing is all about. JS wanted to win i cant blame the guy for putting every ounce of effort into bringing home the victory. Especially since he led alot of the laps, dd just had the middle groove working. It was a racing thing and the best part is they shook hands afterwards. Great class by two great drivers.
