I am coming over from Australia for Sprintweek and was wondering about tent camping at all of the tracks. Any information given would be appreciated.

I'm seriously thinking of doing some tent camping this year when the weather is conducive for it. Think of the (literally) thousdands of dollars you can save.

If I go to any race that is late and more then 2 hours away, I am bringing a sleeping bag and taking the bottom of my back seat out of my Jeep. Getting some screen material and magnets for the back hatch and my tent is my Jeep. But I don't think I am going to any place that far away though. The Burg would be the farthest that I might go and sleep there.

Two hours away? Man I wish I could go to an Indiana track that was only two hours away. Lets see, motels are $60 to $120 per night, you can get a decent small tent for under $100. I won't tent camp all the time but several times after a late night would be ok. It's still nice to have air conditioning and a shower at a motel.
